Membership Process

White Hawk membership allows one to associate themselves with Seven Circles LLC and White Hawk Corp. in such a way as to build a home at White Hawk. Becoming a member allows one to then take out a 99-year lease on a lot and build a privately owned unit.

White Hawk membership currently has two pathways: Regular and Fast-Track. Fast Track if for those who would like to quickly build a home, as the the process takes up to 3 months. Regular track is for most families; the process takes up to 6 months. Below is a summary of the application process.

WHITE HAWK MEMBERSHIP PROCESS SUMMARY

Becoming a White Hawk member is a process that usually takes 3-6 months. While all the specific steps are detailed in the membership applications above, the following is a brief summary of the major steps:

Submit an application (regular or fast track) with a (non-refundable) application fee.

Get a feeling for the decision making process and meet people by attending some meetings (although many people start this before they apply for membership).

Get to know one another by writing a brief biography and answering a questionnaire to share with other members, and by reading the bios and questionnaires they have written.

Learn about current events and history at White Hawk by reading other documents such as recent minutes and decision logs.

Understand your rights and responsibilities by reviewing the policies and the lease agreement that you will sign when you are ready to build a home.

When the necessary steps are completed, the membership will make a consensus decision on your application. Then, after you pay a membership fee, you become an associate member and have locked in your priority order for lot selection.
