Karna, AKA Michael Horigan – I am a Point of Sales Merchant Consultant (full-time); Lighting & Energy Consultant (half-time); Life Coach (part-time). As a life coach I help folks focus on their respective paths of evolvement and consciousness-raising. My 15-yr. old son lives with me part-time. My partner Rubina just moved back to Ithaca to live with me & help share/develop our White Hawk vision. I picked up my cat, Onyx, as a stray a few yrs ago and he lives with us full-time. I have been interested in co-housing & intentional communities since I read "Builders of the Dawn" in 1988. Since then, I have lived off and on in various intentional communities learning/experiencing many aspects of communal living. I first became involved with White Hawk in the early fall of 2005. My biggest hope for White Hawk is that it becomes an integral part of the networks of communities spreading awareness of sustainability and heightened consciousness for our Spaceship Earth. My hobbies include camping, hiking, climbing trees, books, music, guitar, movies, Yoga & meditation. I have a great passion for developing Stewardship/Sustainability Consciousness. This can happen in wide-ranging ways, from leading a weekend meditation retreat, to helping a neighbor build a composting bin.
